Maryland Energy Administration to Host Two Virtual Public Meetings on Inflation Reduction Act Home Energy Rebate Programs

Agency to outline proposed approach for more than $136 million in federal energy rebates during September 27, October 1 sessions

BALTIMORE – The Maryland Energy Administration will host a pair of two-hour, virtual public meetings on its proposed approaches to new federal home energy rebate programs created by the federal Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. The meetings will feature presentations by Maryland Energy Administration staff and provide an opportunity for members of the public to provide comments in response to the agency’s proposals.

There will be a daytime and an evening session to better accommodate all Marylanders.

  • The first session will be held virtually on Friday, Sept. 27 at 1:00 p.m. You can access the meeting link for the daytime session here.
