Milburn Orchards is a Shining Example of Energy Efficiency
“Family owned and operated for 115 years, Milburn Orchards used their 2016 Kathleen A. P. Mathias Agriculture Program grant award to assist with the installation of a Solar PV system and LED lighting upgrades that will save an estimated $21,460.55 a year and keep 168,428.21 kWh off of the grid. For Melinda Milburn Palmeri and her daughter Olivia, this means “helping our family farm save money and energy while making a positive difference for future generations.”
