Maryland Energy Infrastructure Program Request for Information
The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) has been appropriated $7.5 million for the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 program cycle for the Maryland Energy Infrastructure Program (MEIP). The program is designed to incentivize natural gas infrastructure expansion within parts of Maryland not presently served by clean and affordable natural gas. In past program years, MEA has focused resources non-exclusively on projects that replaced energy commodities with harmful greenhouse gas emissions profiles delivered via diesel truck. MEA is asking stakeholders to complete a request for information (RFI) in order to gauge the interest of potential projects that could be funded through the program. Please be as accurate as possible when filling out the document. Under no circumstances is this a binding agreement and you will not be tied to any dollar figures. Please fill out the RFI no later than June 25, 2021. Please submit any questions to David Giusti at MEA.
