New Energy and Ventilation Assistance for Maryland Manufacturers

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) and Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland (RMI) developed a program, Manufacturing Disruption Mitigation Assistance (MDMA), to help Maryland manufacturers address air flow, filtration, and ventilation issues to lessen the spread of COVID-19. CDC guidance generally encourages greater air-flow which will increase energy consumption, energy efficiency will help reduce or eliminate these increases in operating costs.

MDMA provides an in-depth, onsite assessment of a manufacturer’s site and system operations, identifies solutions as well as funding sources and provides application assistance. The program is free to recipients.
