The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) announces a new Commercial Biomass Feasibility Study to gauge interest in wood energy systems at governmental, institutional, commercial, and industrial facilities (e.g., schools, hospitals, campuses, commercial buildings) in Maryland. This is a competitive grant with awards of up to $15,000 per project which can be used to conduct their wood energy feasibility study. MEA’s will share in the study cost, up to 75%, after the consideration of other grants or incentives. The Feasibility Study program is offered on a first-come, first served basis.
