Reminder: Maryland Energy Administration extends grant deadlines
The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) stands united with Governor Hogan and its partner state agencies to keep Marylanders safe and healthy while continuing to provide the same service during the COVID-19 emergency.
MEA understands that due to the Proclamation of Emergency issued by Governor Larry Hogan on March 5, 2020, grantees may not be able to complete all of the milestones required under their grants as originally anticipated. Furthermore, MEA understands that grant timelines may need to shift due to limitations in on-site access, supply chain impacts and other factors.
Therefore, MEA hereby extends the final grant deadlines for active grants in the eligible programs listed below until January 5, 2021, unless further modified. MEA will consider longer extensions to active grants on a case-by-case basis.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact your MEA Program Manager named in the attached list of eligible programs. If the program you are participating in is not listed below or if you have general questions, please email DLinfo_MEA@maryland.gov To learn about other MEA efforts during this emergency please visit our COVID-19 Response webpage.
