MEA Sharing Knowledge with Maryland Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers
by Christopher Russell, Maryland Energy Administration Energy Program Manager
This past week, I spoke at the University of Maryland (UMD) for a meeting of the Maryland Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). I was one of three panelists who provided students with a “real world view” of energy efficiency business practices. Attending students came from UMD, George Washington University and George Mason University. Below please find my slides which provides a business strategy for pursuing energy efficiency improvements.
On a related note, the U.S. Department of Energy recently recognized the State of Maryland’s efforts to implement energy efficiency in its own facilities. Support from a DOE State Energy Program 2012 Competitive Award mobilized successful efforts to reduce energy waste in small and medium-sized buildings. To get more information please click here.
