Animal Waste to Energy Grant Deadline Extended
The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) Animal Waste to Energy Grant deadline has been extended to February 1, 2019.
Investing in biofuels decreases greenhouse gas emissions, diverts pollutants from the Chesapeake Bay and provides new revenue for farms. These are some of the reasons why MEA increased funding for the Animal Waste to Energy grant from $4 million to $6 million for this grant cycle. Two Areas of Interest (AOI) have been identified for the current grant, on-farm/pilot scale and a community/regional scale. To read more about this grant or download the application, click here.
