Listen-Up – electricity market deregulation insights

Last week, Kent Mottice, Maryland Energy Administration Energy Policy Manager, provided historical information on Maryland’s deregulated electricity market. Mottice talked about the electricity supplier options available to Marylanders. Maryland is one of 17 states in the U.S. which have deregulated their electricity markets and consumers can select plans with energy suppliers that reduce their monthly bills or provide energy generated from 100% renewable sources.
