We are ecstatic to see the high rate of interest in our Data Center Energy Efficiency Grant Pilot Program. This unique, first of its kind in the country, program is designed to support the robust and growing information technology sector within Maryland by providing grants that encourage the implementation of cost-effective energy efficiency measures. Nearly 30 companies participated in our webinar last month. The application deadline has been extended to Friday, February 17, 2017at 11:59 p.m.

We are seeking innovative energy efficiency solutions to reduce electrical usage in data centers and improve existing data centers’ overall Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE). Grant awards will range from $20,000 to $200,000 per eligible project (subject to funding availability) and are designed to cover up to 50% of the net customer cost (up to $200,000), after other incentives and grants have been applied, for innovative and cost-effective energy efficiency solutions.
