Cristina Palchefsky is our Accounts Payable supervisor. In the last 9 months, this unit has experienced a great deal of turnover. Her two direct reports resigned within3 weeks of each other at the end of last summer, leaving Cristina as the only person left to do the work of three people until their replacements were brought in. The Accounts Payable department processes an average of over 700 invoices per month, so this was a great deal of work to make sure our vendors continued to be paid on time. Once we hired new employees, Cristina was responsible for training them and getting them up to speed on our department’s processes and procedures. She handled this all with minimal disruptions to on time processing. Thank you Cristina for helping to keep the Accounts Payable department running during this period of great transition!
