U.S. & Maryland Flag Flow Half-Staff, Thursday, November 8, 2018

By executive order, as a mark of solemn respect for the victims of the terrible act of violence perpetrated in Thousand Oaks, California, on November 7, 2018, the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff effective IMMEDIATELY until sunset, Saturday, November 10, 2018. As a matter of protocol, the Maryland flag is lowered to half-staff. No flag may fly higher than the United States flag.
