General Services, the Maryland Department of Aging and the Maryland Department of Planning are partnering to collect Toys for Toys, a special 2016 Maryland Charity Campaign event at State Center.

Planning Secretary Wendy Peters and Department of Aging Deputy Secretary Dina Gordon joined Secretary Churchill, Deputy Secretary Reichart and Maryland Capitol Police Chief Mike Wilson in the lobby of 301 W. Preston on December 6 to kick off the campaign.

All three collection bins were filled to the top! Thank you to everyone who participated and brought a gift that is sure to warm the heart of a girl or a boy this holiday season. 

The drive continues through Friday, December 16, the last day of the Maryland Charity Campaign. Unwrapped toys and clothing can be dropped off in the collection bins in the lobby.

MCP will be distributing the toys and clothing to local families.
