Maryland to Hold Public Meeting on Waterfowl Regulations

Proposed late season waterfowl hunting regulations will be discussed at a public meeting hosted by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources at 7 p.m. on August 13 at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills. DNR will announce the proposed dates and bag limits in early August after the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) finalizes its late season framework.

DNR Announces Public Meetings for Hunting Regulation Changes

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources will hold two public meetings to solicit comments on proposed hunting and trapping regulations for the State’s resident game species and selected migratory game birds for 2014-15 and 2015-16. DNR’s Wildlife and Heritage Service reevaluates the regulations for these game species every two years.  

DNR to Gather Public Input on Possible Designation of Additional Wildlands

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking public input on the proposed creation of 10 new Wildlands and the expansion of 17 existing Wildlands (click here for the map).
