Maryland Flag Flown Half-Staff Saturday, January 27, 2018

Governor Larry Hogan has ordered the Maryland State Flag lowered to half-staff effective at sunrise, Saturday, January 27, 2018 and returned to full-staff at sunset, Saturday, January 27, 2018. This action is in honor of former Maryland Congresswoman Marjorie Holt, who passed away on January 7, 2018. Congresswoman Holt was a the first Republican woman to Congress from Maryland, she represented Maryland’s 4th congressional district from January 3, 1973 to January 3, 1987.
