Maryland Fishing and Crabbing Guide Set for February Release
Expanded Guide Provides Year-Round Information
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources will release its comprehensive 2017-18 Maryland Fishing & Crabbing Guide Feb. 15.
The guide is the go-to reference for all questions on recreational fishing and crabbing in the state, providing a summary of seasons, license information, size and creel limits, and more.
“We’ve added new information and updated the title to reflect the full range of opportunities to enjoy sporting activities in Maryland’s waters, from the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay to our inland lakes, rivers and streams,” said Fishing and Boating Services Director David Blazer. “Our goal is to provide the ultimate, year-round reference for any fishing trip in the state, for beginner, intermediate and master anglers.”
The Maryland Fishing & Crabbing Guide can be found in retail locations throughout the state and will be posted at dnr.maryland.gov/fisheries. The online version of the guide gets updated throughout the year.
