DNR Accepting Bids for Trapping in Somerset and Worcester Counties

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is accepting bids for the 2015-2016 trapping season for Wildlife Management Areas (WMA) in Somerset and Worcester Counties, as well as Hickory Point Natural Area, Janes Island State Park and Johnson WMA.

Applicants must pick up their bid packages in person at Wellington WMA (32733 Dublin, Rd., Princess Anne, MD 21853) or the Eastern Regional Service Center (201 Baptist Street, Salisbury Md. 21801) and return them, sealed, via mail or in person to the Eastern center by 12 p.m. on Oct. 27, 2015. DNR will award annual trapping leases to the highest bidder, as determined during the bid opening, to be held at 1 p.m. that same day.
