DNR Regional Offices in Cumberland to Move to Rocky Gap State Park

The western region DNR Wildlife and Heritage Service and Land Acquisition and Planning Service offices will be relocating from downtown Cumberland to a DNR building at Rocky Gap State Park on July 7 and 8.

The new address will be 12512 Pleasant Valley Road, Flintstone, MD 21530. The telephone numbers will remain the same: 301-777-2136 for the Wildlife and Heritage, and 301-777-2030 for Land Acquisition and Planning.

Just under eight miles east on Route 68 from the current location, the Rocky Gap site provides plenty of convenient parking and easier access for the physically challenged. In using a DNR facility, there will also be a substantial savings in operating costs.
