Leon, originally from California, is tasked\u00a0to hand out not only meals, but school work supplements for the students who did not have computers.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Q: Time in Service<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A: <\/b>I have been in the Maryland National Guard for six months, now, after serving on active duty.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Q: What are you doing outside of the military?<\/b><\/p>\n

A: <\/b>I go to school full time programming, compiler theory, and design courses. My major is computer science at the University of Maryland Global Campus. There has been a lot of late nights doing homework since all this [pandemic response] started.<\/span><\/p>\n

Q: What do you miss the most about pre-pandemic life?<\/b><\/p>\n

A: <\/b>Going out and wearing regular clothes. All I do is wear this uniform. I miss bar hopping with friends, hiking, and outdoor stuff. There have been a lot of things I realized I have been taking for granted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Q: What keeps you motivated during trying times?<\/b><\/p>\n
