(FALLSTON, MD) \u2013 Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving an electric dirt bike that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Harford County.<\/p>\n
The deceased is identified as a 16-year-old male from Fallston, Maryland. The juvenile was taken to a local trauma center by Maryland State Police Aviation Command, where he was pronounced deceased. No other injuries were reported on scene.<\/p>\n
At approximately 2:30 p.m. on May 5, 2026, troopers from the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack responded to a crash between a car and an electric dirt bike in the area of Maryland Route 152 (Fallston Road) and Pleasantville Road.\u00a0 The preliminary investigation indicates that a Honda CR-V was traveling southbound on Rt 152 and attempted to make a left turn onto Pleasantville Road. The electric dirt bike was traveling northbound on Rt 152 and struck the Honda CR-V on the passenger side.<\/p>\n
The Harford County Sheriff\u2019s Office assisted with traffic control, which lasted approximately two hours.<\/p>\n
The Maryland State Police Crash Team is leading the active and ongoing investigation. Once completed, the investigation will be presented to the Office of the State\u2019s Attorney in Harford County to determine whether charges will be filed.<\/p>\n
