According to a preliminary investigation, a Honda motorcycle was traveling north when the vehicle went off the roadway and struck a telephone pole. The operator of a Honda motorcycle involved in the crash, identified as Jason Birley, 50, of Fawn Grove, PA, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Harford County Emergency Medical Services personnel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Whiteford Road was closed for approximately two and a half hours following the crash.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The cause of the crash remains under investigation.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(Whiteford, MD) &#8211; Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle motorcycle crash that occurred last night.
