{"id":27967,"date":"2023-08-28T16:56:45","date_gmt":"2023-08-28T20:56:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/msp\/?p=27967"},"modified":"2023-08-28T16:56:51","modified_gmt":"2023-08-28T20:56:51","slug":"maryland-state-police-recover-loaded-guns-after-traffic-stop-in-calvert-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/msp\/2023\/08\/28\/maryland-state-police-recover-loaded-guns-after-traffic-stop-in-calvert-county\/","title":{"rendered":"Maryland State Police Recover Loaded Guns After Traffic Stop In Calvert County"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>(SAINT LEONARD, MD) \u2013 Maryland State Police recovered two loaded handguns and arrested a man and a woman following a traffic stop on Sunday in Calvert County.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers from the Prince Frederick Barrack at about 12:20 a.m. Sunday pulled over a Chrysler that was seen swerving and moving erratically in the area of Route 4 and Lancaster Drive in Saint Leonard.<\/p>\n<p>According to a preliminary investigation, troopers observed a handgun lodged between the center console and the driver\u2019s seat. The firearm was loaded and missing a serial number.
