{"id":24388,"date":"2022-04-10T20:35:52","date_gmt":"2022-04-11T00:35:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/msp\/?p=24388"},"modified":"2022-04-11T09:40:20","modified_gmt":"2022-04-11T13:40:20","slug":"state-police-investigating-shots-fired-on-i-295-in-anne-arundel-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/msp\/2022\/04\/10\/state-police-investigating-shots-fired-on-i-295-in-anne-arundel-county\/","title":{"rendered":"State Police Investigating Shots Fired On 295 In Anne Arundel County"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>(HANOVER, MD) \u2014 Maryland State Police are investigating a possible road rage incident that allegedly resulted in shots fired, sending one man to the hospital with injuries Sunday afternoon in Anne Arundel County.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The injured victim\u2019s identification is being withheld due to the ongoing investigation.\u00a0 He was transported from the scene with a gunshot wound by medevac to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center where he continues to receive treatment of his injuries. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The victim was driving a gray Chevrolet Malibu with a one-year-old child in the vehicle. The child was uninjured during the incident.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect vehicle is described as a gray sedan, possibly a BMW. Police do not have a description of the driver at this time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The preliminary investigation indicates the incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on northbound 295 prior to Arundel Mills Boulevard.
