\u00a0<\/strong>Driver\/passengers(s)\/pedestrian:<\/strong> Johnny Desmond Holmes Jr, 54 years old\u00a0 from Great Mills, MD<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Victim(s)\/Injuries: <\/strong>Darryn Paul Alley, 27 yr old from Waldorf, MD, pronounced dead at the scene by PG County EMS<\/p>\n

Charges: <\/strong>No charges at this time<\/p>\n

Narrative:<\/strong><\/p>\n

On 4\/26\/2020 at approximately 2111 hours, Troopers from the MSP Forestville Barrack responded to northbound US Route 301 near the intersection of Cedarville Road for a report of a fatal accident involving a struck pedestrian.<\/p>\n

The investigation is ongoing at this time but Alcohol\/drug impairment is\u00a0NOT<\/u><\/b>\u00a0believed to be a contributing factor in this incident.<\/p>\n

Preliminary investigation reveals that a dark Blue Ford F-150 with MD registration 5DW0862 was traveling north on US Route 301 in lane 1 when it struck a pedestrian with the passenger side portion of the front bumper.\u00a0 The pedestrian was wearing dark clothing and was not walking in a crosswalk.\u00a0 The Ford was driven by the registered owner, a 54 yr old male from Great Mills, MD.\u00a0 The deceased was identified as a 27 yr old male from Waldorf, MD.<\/p>\n
