This press release is designed to inform the public of our commitment to ensuring safety and enforcing the laws in Maryland.<\/p>\n

Our message this week is do not leave the scene of any collision.\u00a0 If you are involved in a collision involving property damage or injury, per Maryland law, you must stay at the scene and provide the proper information to the police, the other person involved or the owner.\u00a0 Leaving the scene of any collision is not an option, you must stay and provide your information.\u00a0 That includes collisions with the jersey wall, guardrail or any state or privately owned structure.\u00a0 Leaving the scene of a collision will result in an arrest, fines, citations and\/or possibly jail time.\u00a0 Leaving the scene of a fatal collision could result in a 10 year prison sentence as well.\u00a0 Our message is clear, do the right thing.\u00a0 Remain at the scene and provide your information.\u00a0 Our family\u2019s lives depend on it.<\/p>\n
