MSP Easton was called to the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving two tractor trailers on Federalsburg Highway near Chipmans Lane in Caroline County MD.\u00a0 One patient was flown from the scene via Delaware State Police to Christiana Hospital and two patients were taken via ground to Nanticoke General Hospital.\u00a0 Maryland Department of the Environment was called to the scene due to a significant amount of fuel oils leaking from the vehicles.\u00a0 Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division responded as well as the State Highway Administration.\u00a0 The road is currently closed in both directions and will be for an extended amount of time until the tractor trailers can be removed.\u00a0 A preliminary investigation reveals that the tractor trailers were headed in opposite directions when one of them collided with the other one.\u00a0 The investigation is continuing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
