(FORRESTVILLE, MD) \u2013 \u00a0Maryland State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in which one person was injured this morning in Prince George\u2019s County.<\/p>\n
At about 5:45 a.m. this morning, troopers from the Maryland State Police Forestville Barrack responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash with injuries at southbound I-495 at Central Ave. According to a preliminary investigation, a Chevrolet Camaro, being driven by James Douglas Perry III, 22, of Abingdon, Maryland lost control of the vehicle and struck the guardrail.<\/p>\n
Perry, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported via ambulance to University of Maryland Prince George\u2019s Hospital Center for treatment of his injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.<\/p>\n
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
