The funds, available through the U.S. Department of Agriculture\u2019s Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP), expand student access to produce in<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marylandpublicschools.org\/programs\/SchoolandCommunityNutrition\/Pages\/FFVPData.aspx\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">participating schools<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">with priority given to schools with high numbers of students from families with low income.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The program provides a variety of produce at no charge and shows students that fresh fruits and vegetables can be a healthy and delicious snack.
