Research has repeatedly shown that effective principals are key to successful schools.<\/p>\n<p>Forty-one assistant principals included in the Promising Principals Academy\u2019s earlier classes have already been promoted to principal. <\/p>\n<p>Forty-five emerging leaders from 23 of Maryland\u2019s 24 school systems will take part in this year\u2019s class.
