Baltimore Street, Baltimore.\u00a0 <strong>The meeting will be held in the State Board room on the 7<sup>th<\/sup> floor, beginning at 9 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Items on this month\u2019s regular agenda include (times approximate):<\/p>\n<p>9:45 a.m. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Quality Teacher Incentive Grant\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MSDE will request approval to identify Title I schools as \u201ccomprehensive needs\u201d schools for the purpose of awarding Quality Teacher Incentive Grants. This grant allows for the distribution of stipends to teachers and non-administrative school-based employees who hold a certificate issued by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS). The award is differentiated by the type of school that employs the individual.<\/p>\n<p>1:30 p.m.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<strong>\u00a0\u00a0Environmental Education Instructional Programs <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The State Board will receive updates on the Environmental Education Instructional Program Standards for grades PreK-12.
