The honorees are sponsoring internships, mentoring students as they complete real-world projects, and creating Maryland\u2019s high-skilled future workforce.\u00a0 As a result of their leadership and contribution to CTE programs, Maryland students are better prepared for careers in computer science, hospitality management, cyber security and health and biomedical sciences.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s award winners represent outstanding contributions to CTE programs from across the state and include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 OUTSTANDING BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS \u2013 CTE PROGRAM<br \/>\n<strong><em>Financial Council Incorporated \/ John D. The results of this partnership benefit the school, community, and business. The Outstanding CTE Program award recognizes secondary and community college programs that deliver exemplary student and program outcomes and integration of systemic reform.\u00a0 The change agent award recognizes leadership for innovative change in CTE programs and focuses on goals of change, the change process, and overall results. The distinguished service award honors individuals who have demonstrated a high level of leadership, vision, and achievement in CTE.
