\n<\/strong>Sheraton Annapolis Hotel, 173 Jennifer Road, Annapolis, MD 21401
\nDr. Lowery will participate in the statewide gathering of aspiring principals and other school system leaders as they discuss \u201cBuilding and Executive Effective Communications Strategies.\u201d\u00a0 A number of national and state experts will address the meeting, including Mike McCurry, former press secretary to President Bill Clinton.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, December 10
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/strong>9:30 a.m. \u2013 Maryland Blue Ribbon Schools Announcement, <\/strong>Maryland State Department of Education, 7th Floor Board Room, 200 W. Baltimore Street, Baltimore, MD 21201
\nDr. Lowery will announce the names of the 2015 Maryland Blue Ribbon Schools.\u00a0 Schools from Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Frederick, Harford, and Washington Counties will be in the spotlight.<\/p>\n

12 p.m. \u2013 Terrapin Teachers Advisory Board<\/strong>,
\nElkins Building, University of Maryland, 33000 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, MD 20783
\nDr. Lowery will participate in the inaugural meeting of the advisory panel, which will help oversee the new Terrapin Teachers program based on the University of Texas\u2019s UTeach model.<\/p>\n
