Baltimore Street, Baltimore.\u00a0 <strong>The meeting will be held in the State Board room on the 7<sup>th<\/sup> floor, beginning at 9 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Items on this month\u2019s regular agenda include (times approximate):<\/p>\n<p>9:40 a.m. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Educator Certification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The State Board will consider the educator licenses\u2014formerly referred to as certificate types\u2014that will be available to Maryland educators. Included in this discussion will be educator license progression and the renewal requirements for each license.<\/p>\n<p>11:20 a.m.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Teacher Evaluation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The State Board will hear a report on the status of improvements to the State\u2019s default model for teacher evaluations. State law requires that all teachers be evaluated annually using either the State model or an approved locally developed program.
