The students may choose to study Chinese or Arabic in a rigorous, exciting, hands-on, and engaging experience.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong><em> 2014 Maryland Summer Centers Program<\/em><\/strong> continues a 46 year commitment at the State level to provide summer educational opportunities for Maryland\u2019s gifted and talented students. The program, coordinated through the Maryland State Department of Education, in partnership with public and nonpublic agencies, provides Maryland\u2019s diverse gifted and talented student population with advanced, rigorous, experiential learning opportunities that nurture these students\u2019 talents and abilities within unique learning environments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHO<\/strong>:\u00a0Gifted and Talented students, entering grades 4 \u2013 6, interested in learning where Chinese or Arabic is spoken as well as gaining a cultural understanding and knowledge of language.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHEN:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>July 21-31, 2014<br \/>\n8:30 a.m. \u2013 3:30 p.m. (Monday through Thursday only)<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>WHERE:\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Meade Middle School (Anne Arundel County)<br \/>\n1103 26th Street<br \/>\nFt.
