\n<\/strong><\/span><\/strong>12-4 p.m. – Forum: Finding Common Ground in Mathematics Education<\/strong>, Library of Congress,
\nMontpelier Room, Madison Building, 101 Independence Avenue, Washington, DC 20540
\nDr. Lowery will participate in the forum, sponsored by the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, exploring the past, present, and future of math education.\u00a0 She will serve as the closing speaker for the event.<\/p>\n

Friday, April 17<\/strong><\/span><\/strong>
\n8 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Teachers of Promise Institute<\/strong>
\nBWI Airport Marriott Hotel, 1743 W. Nursery Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090
\nDr. Lowery will take part in the annual Teachers of Promise program, which brings together State and Local Teachers of the Year with top seniors graduating from Maryland schools of education.<\/p>\n
