MARYLAND STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION HOSTS VIRTUAL MEETING ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, 2020

BALTIMORE  ­- SPECIAL NOTICE: Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Wednesday, May 27, 2020 meeting of the State Board of Education will be conducted entirely via livestream, and there will be no public access to the Nancy S. Grasmick State Education Building, 200 West Baltimore Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.

Please note the change in the meeting day. The meeting will be held on a Wednesday instead of Tuesday, as regularly scheduled, and will begin at 11 a.m.

State Board members and presenters will participate in the virtual meeting, and members of the public will be able to hear the audio and see presentations in real time via live stream. Agenda items have been condensed to include only those items that require State Board action at this time. The public comment portion of the meeting will not take place. However, the State Board encourages the public to submit their comments in writing to stateboard.msde@maryland.gov and this information will be distributed to State Board members.
