The Maryland Energy Administration received the Highest Increase in Monetary Contributions and Schaefer Cares awards. The \u00a0Schaefer Cares Award is for most improved participation rate among a department. Currently nearly 900 charities participate in the campaign. The collective generosity benefits the public health, safety, and welfare of Marylanders by providing, food, shelter, healthcare, mental health services, services to the poor, homeless, and those suffering from addiction, in addition to supporting the arts, faith-based initiatives, and much more.\u00a0 In 2016, MCC\u2019s employee donors raised $ 2,930,829 million dollars. Jeannine helped to organize and promote the MEA charity fundraising activities for 2016.
