The Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/energy.maryland.gov\/business\/Pages\/ResilientMaryland.aspx\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Resilient Maryland Program<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> application deadline has been extended to <\/span><b>3:00 P.M. ET, Monday, December 2, 2024<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. This extension provides additional time for applicants to prepare strong proposals for funding consideration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The program is designed <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to help Maryland communities and organizations identify optimal system configurations to bolster the resilience, sustainability, energy affordability, and efficiency of their essential facilities and operations and safeguard them from the harmful effects of prolonged power outages.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In FY24, nearly $10 million in program funds were awarded to 23 individual resilient energy projects across the State through the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cesa.org\/projects\/state-leadership-in-clean-energy\/2022-awards\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">award-winning<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Resilient Maryland Program. Since its creation in FY20, the program has helped fund over 60 projects that are in various stages of development and installation.
