These are some of the reasons why MEA increased funding for the <a href=\"https:\/\/energy.maryland.gov\/business\/Pages\/incentives\/awe.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Animal Waste to Energy grant<\/a> from $4 million to $6 million for this grant cycle.\u00a0\u00a0Two Areas of Interest (AOI) have been identified for the current grant,\u00a0 on-farm\/pilot scale and a community\/regional scale.
