Rich Levels Poultry, LLC in Galena, MD<\/p><\/div>\n

The Kathy A.P. Mathias Agriculture<\/a>\u00a0grant has saved Maryland farmers over $750,000 dollars since 2012. Dedicated to the memory of Kathleen Arlee “Kathy” Petry Mathias of Ocean City, who passed away Aug. 15, 2011 after a battle with cancer. The wife of Maryland State Senator James N. Mathias Jr., Kathy was an inexhaustible advocate for Maryland\u2019s Eastern Shore and its farming community.\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b This annual grant is awarded on a competitive basis to\u00a0Maryland farms and agricultural businesses who significantly reduce their energy use.
