Special Research Flight Notification
Next week NASA, in cooperation with the Maryland Department of Environment and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, begins a month-long air quality study over northeast Maryland. The project, called DISCOVER-AQ, includes one low-flying aircraft sampling air pollution over Interstate 95, the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, and other major roadways from June 27 through July 31. http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/discover-aq/overview/index.html
