Washington and Garrett County: Cooling Centers

EMA knows of no “official” cooling shelters open but it has been advertised that public buildings and businesses (open normally on Sundays) can be used for cooling. They would open centers if the need arises.

Garrett has 3 sites (besides normally open public bldgs and businesses):

• Friendsville Fire Dept
• Deer Park Fire Dept
• Southern Rescue Squad.
