The hillside was destabilized, at least in part, by a torrential downpour that brought as much rain in a few days as Baltimore normally sees in the entire month of April.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s worrisome is that this vulnerability \u2014 a city&#8217;s aging infrastructure pitted against unusually severe weather \u2014 is likely to become an even greater problem in the future.
