In addition to the exhibits, MDE will present several learning sessions for registered attendees.<\/p>\n The Maryland Clean Water Innovations Trade Show was an initiative developed at a 2011 \u201cMaryland Forward\u201d forum on sustainability. Inspired by the suggestion of Governor O’Malley to bring together Maryland businesses with developers and local governments to work on cost-effective solutions to stormwater runoff pollution and other water quality issues, the Maryland Clean Water Innovations Trade Show was born.<\/p>\n WHO: <\/span>\u00a0Robert M. Summers, Secretary, Maryland Department of the Environment; \u00a0<\/span>Sarah Lane, University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science at DNR; Adam Ortiz, Director, Prince George’s County Department of the Environment; Dana N. Havlik, P.E. and Christie Minami, P.E., Maryland State Highway Administration; approximately 200 representatives from federal, state, and local agencies; stakeholder groups; and water quality businesses.
