new Maryland idle-reduction program
Baltimore, MD (November 16, 2017) – Maryland Department of the Environment Secretary Ben Grumbles will join together with representatives from Maryland Motor Truck Association and Cowan Systems, LLC for an announcement about idle-reduction efforts in Maryland. Following brief remarks from partners, a demonstration of new idle-reduction technologies will take place.

WHY
Reduced vehicle and truck idling will provide Maryland with significant reductions in pollution causing carbon dioxide, particulate matter and nitrogen oxide, while improving the health of Maryland citizens and saving money for Maryland businesses by reducing fuel cost up to $12,000 per year.
