MEDIA ADVISORY: Maryland State Agencies to host “Maryland Gives Back Donation Day”
in Glen Burnie
Baltimore, MD (September 19, 2017) – Marylanders looking to clean out their closets, basements and garages are in luck as several Maryland State Agencies and partners will host Maryland Gives Back Donation Day on Saturday, September 30, from 8 a.m. – 12 noon at the Motor Vehicle Administration at 6601 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. The event which ties in with Governor Hogan’s Day to Serve initiative will provide citizens the chance to donate computers, clothing, household items and more. Paper shredding will also be available. Computers and computer accessories will be donated to Chesapeake PC Users Education Program and Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake. Household and clothing items will go to Savers Donation Drop Box to benefit National Children’s Foundation. All non-perishable food items will benefit the Anne Arundel County Food Bank.
