ABC2: Lead poisoning remains a concern for Maryland children

BALTIMORE – Hundreds of children in Maryland are diagnosed with lead poisoning each year. Thousands more are exposed.

All of Baltimore and many parts of Baltimore County are among the most at-risk areas in the state. It’s a very serious condition with the potential to affect children for the rest of their lives, and many parents may never even realize that their child is poisoned.
