WMDT: One Million Dollars Pegged for Princess Anne Wastewater Project

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – A project in Princess Anne to help its infrastructure and the environment has been approved for a $1 million grant.

The Princess Anne Wastewater Treatment Plant energy project is part of the Department of Environment’s initiative focused on combining clean water and clean energy. The money will toward upgrading pumps and other equipment at the plant to reduce energy consumption.
