Herald-Mail: Washington County gets $216K for septic-system upgrades
State officials this week approved $14 million in grant funding to be used for upgrading septic systems throughout rural regions of Maryland.
Approved by the Maryland Board of Public Works in Annapolis on Wednesday, the money will be split between the state’s 23 counties, with Washington County slated to receive $216,000, according to a state news release.
