Due to unforeseen circumstances<\/b>, the Nutrient Management Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for next Tuesday, June 4th, will be rescheduled to Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 9:00.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n

The meeting will be held in person at MDA and offered virtually (virtual meeting information is below.) In 2024, the Maryland legislature passed Senate and House Bills that gives the MDA Nutrient Management Program authority to require permits on farms where Food Processing Residuals are applied. The new legislation becomes effective July 1, 2024.<\/div>\n

MDA is currently working on draft regulations and June 4th will be your opportunity to review the draft regulations and provide input. Please try to attend or send a representative, and feel free to contact Dwight Dotterer, Dwight.Dotterer@maryland.gov, if you have any questions.<\/div>\n
